Write for us
Curious Resource welcomes concise, original proposals that help general readers understand a material or the choices behind objects made from it. Send proposals through the Contact page, with the subject and a short outline.
Topics that fit
Strong proposals focus on a specific material question: a property that explains how something behaves, a making process, a meaningful design choice, or an object's care and possible reuse. Choose subjects that can be explained safely without specialist advice, hazardous work or claims that vary by local rules.
What makes a good pitch
Tell us the central question, the reader takeaway and why the subject deserves its own piece. Name the material or object involved, explain the angle in a few sentences, and note any uncertainty or limits that would need careful wording.
Originality and clarity
We look for fresh, focused proposals written for curious non-specialists. Pitches should distinguish general principles from product-specific details, avoid unsupported claims and make clear whether the idea is based on explanation, comparison, history or another form.
How to send it
Use the Contact page and choose the editorial question option for a proposal. Please include a working title and short outline in your message; a pitch is a proposal, not a guarantee of publication.
Materials shape the things we live with.
Knowing what an object is made from can make its design, care and history easier to understand. Curiosity starts with looking closely.
